The Opportunity

Sephora is rapidly expanding and were searching for a proactive and detailoriented Internal Controls Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. In this pivotal role youll collaborate with our CFO to enhance governance strengthen our control environment and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape internal governance in a fastpaced retail environment. Working across multiple departments youll drive risk management improve processes and ensure compliance with both internal policies and regulatory standards.

You will also be responsible for:

• Developing and Enhancing Processes: Collaborate with process owners to refine operational controls mitigate risks and optimise governance mechanisms.
• Managing Risks and Controls: Strengthen risk control frameworks evaluate processes and recommend improvements aligned with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Supporting Business Transformation: Embed internal controls into new processes and conduct audits of stores stock and warehouses to assess SOP compliance.
• Overseeing Cash and Insurance Operations: Manage cash bank deposits liaise with insurers for losses and act as the key contact for goods lost during transport.
• Driving Compliance and Ethics: Lead Sephora UKs compliance program as the Ethics and Compliance Coordinator support fraud investigations and oversee audit activities while implementing action plans.
• Fostering Stakeholder Relationships: Partner with teams across the business delivering actionable insights and clear reporting on risks and improvements.
• Building Team Capabilities: Create and deliver training sessions to ensure companywide understanding of key policies and procedures.

What Youll Bring

Youll bring a structured detailoriented approach to risk and governance while fostering strong crossfunctional relationships. Your expertise in compliance controls and process optimization will be instrumental in supporting Sephoras rapid growth.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess:

• A bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Accounting Risk Management or a related field.
• Expertise in risk/control frameworks and SarbanesOxley (SOX) compliance (audit experience is advantageous).
• Familiarity with SAP and data analytics tools.
• Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• A history of identifying risks proposing solutions and driving improvements.
• Strong organizational skills attention to detail and adaptability in managing multiple priorities.
• An understanding of retail and ecommerce operations (preferred).
