As a growing Multi Academy Trust now is a fantastic time to join our team of SEND education professionals based in Salisbury as we are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified Teacher to join Exeter House School an Ofsted rated Good all through special school for CYP from EYFS age 4 to higher education age 19 who have PMLD SLD or Complex Needs.

All about the role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Headteacher and SENCo to join our leadership team. As a member of the strategic leadership team you will have professional responsibility for the SENDspecific practice across the school ensuring every learner receives the support challenge and opportunities they need to thrive.

You will work closely with our CoHeadteachers and SLT to drive wholeschool improvement build strong relationships with families and external agencies and nurture a culture of inclusion.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced SENCo or senior leader with a strong understanding with SEND ideally within a special school environment
  • Is passionate about inclusive education and committed to achieving the very best for all pupils
  • Has excellent leadership communication and teambuilding skills
  • Can lead staff development and inspire a shared vision across the school community
