JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and detailedoriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a forklift material handler. Responsible for various task including safely transporting material in a manufacturing facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials.
- Move finished trailers and material around our facility.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Follow orders and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have previous forklift experience.
- Ability to use and read a tape measure is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Environment is not climate controlled. Limited control of heat and cooling hot in the summers and cold in the winters.
- Loud industrial environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Walking standing kneeling bending are required up to 90 of the workday.
- Lifting pushing pulling up to 5070 pounds up to 20 of the workday.
WORK HOURS:
- This is a fulltime position. Work week is Monday through Friday 10hour shifts. Saturday will be required when production demand requires overtime.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time.
