Job Description
Sales Assistant
As a Sales Assistant within our Johnstones Decorating Centre you will provide a firstclass customer service selling and promoting PPG/Johnstones products. This is a key customer facing role for which an outgoing helpful and hardworking nature will be paramount to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Store opening hours:
07:3017:00 MonFri
08:0012:00 Sat (working a maximum of 1 in 2 Saturdays likely to be less)
Key Responsibilities
Serve customers on the trade counter and in the store.
Sell and promotePPG/Johnstonesproducts.
Stock shelves.
Take in deliveries.
Process cash and card payments.
Stock take.
Tint paint.
IT work (place orders check stock etc..
Clean and promote good HSE practices.
Drive the company van to deliver stock to stores and customers.
Qualifications
Full UK Driving Licence (Crucial)!
Previous experience in a customer facing environment (Crucial)!
Excellent communication skills and a positive customer focused attitude.
Good understanding of IT systems.
