The Position
The Hemophilia Medical Leader is a medical/scientific leader officebased accountable for delivering the overall medical strategy for Hemophilia disease area. In this role you will leverage the expertise across the network to ensure integrated disease/brand outcomes are achieved through an excellent prioritization seizing opportunities to deliver on evolving medical needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Medical Unit Leader to define develop and communicate a scientific narrative for the disease area with an overall responsibility for strategic planning allocation and prioritization of the annual medical budget for brands within the disease area.
- As squad Medical representative at Affiliate level provide the leadership to set medical objectives and bring clinical insights to all squad conversations.
- Define data sharing strategy to address medical needs optimize patient outcomes and support payers and value based pricing decisions.
- Interact with Clin Ops PDG on the registrative clinical trials conducted in Italy and with local EGU for RWE studies IIS independent research and CUP.
- Lead the identification and prioritization of local publication activities.
- At network level ensure productive and fruitful interaction with PDMA in the disease area.
- Establish scientific relationships with key Therapeutic Area Experts and representatives of Scientific Societies in collaboration with the Medical Managers.
- Provide medical review for documents and communication at Disease Area level as well as deliver training activities at Disease Area level.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree.
- > 3 years experience in Medical management in a pharmaceutical company.
- Familiarity with the local medical environment and healthcare system. Knowledge of the specific disease area will be an asset.
- Proven Experience in TAE management.
- Strong organizational and teamworking abilities with excellent relational skills.
- Project management mindset with the ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to deliver scientific presentations with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Strong business acumen and system thinking attitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Fluency both in Italian and in English.
