Job Description

We are looking for an experienced risk manager with background in compliance risk intelligence analysis and implementation of largescale gap mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate contains high competency in advanced technical (cybersecurity crypto security engineering etc. and data analysis skills (SQL Python Machine Learning Data Science etc.. This role will manage critical and high impact security policy compliance initiatives and projects and scale their findings through technology and analytics (machine learning) to interpret risks across Amazons entire business segment while developing feasible and systematic solutions to solve endemic problems. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the use of advanced data analytics and technology to identify risk patterns and establish connections to uncover process access and policy gaps to prevent data loss across Amazon stores worldwide. Key job responsibilities
Complete risk analyses using complex data sets (SQL Python R etc..
Use highlevel judgment to own our most complex risk mitigation and security policy compliance initiatives.
Identify gaps and risks in Amazons current mechanisms and policies and recommend solutions to product/policy owning teams.
Use data and/or technical skills to discover new ways to scale risk signals resulting in the identification of noncompliance trends and data security risk.
Break problems into manageable pieces meticulously prioritizing and delivering results in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment.
Conduct large scale deep dives to derive insights about data security risks related to the use of thirdparty solutions identifying gaps and risk in Amazons current mechanisms systems and policies.
Discover solutions and convey detailed technical knowledge (verbally in writing and via diagram) to engineering legal and program/product management teams


About the team
The Trust & Store Integrity team (TSI) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting customers brands selling partners and Amazon from fraud counterfeit and abuse as well as empowering providing worldclass support and building loyalty with Amazons millions of selling partners. The Special Projects and Investigations (SPI) team within TSI designs and implements policies tools and technology innovations to protect customers by identifying and preventing abuse worldwide. 4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience handling confidential information
5 years of relevant experience in risk analysis and/or regulatory compliance.
Highly proficient in data analysis (SQL or experience with multiterabyte and petabyte relational databases) or scripting (i.e. Python R MATLAB).
High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate security and business risk to a broad range of technical and nontechnical audiences.
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects across multiple teams.
Excellent leadership negotiation teamwork and collaboration skills.
Strong critical thinker with the vision to work both tactically and strategically.
Experience implementing repeatable processes and automation or standardization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

3 years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
Experience working in fast paced ecommerce organizations.
Experience working within fraud compliance law enforcement or intelligence organizations.
Experience in adjacent domain areas like network engineering Infosec software development for ecommerce or work involving software for APIs or web sing.
Experience working with Threat Intelligence teams threat modeling and familiarity with open source intelligence (OSINT).
Masters degree in or practical experience with data science or machine learning.
Experience with AWS cloud solutions.
Experience in Data Sciences Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
CISSP Certification or experience in multiple CISSP knowledge areas
Demonstrated experience in areas such as digital forensics or internal investigations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
