We are looking for an electrical system engineer to join our Concepts & Architecture team in the Product Management & Development (PMD) team.
Establish converter design with cross functional interaction to all value streams within a matrixoriented organization. Define system requirements based on internal & external specifications and international standards. Within this drive technical development with your pears as well as with customers and suppliers. Foster the invention of new design principles with the entire development team and be engaged during the entire product life cycle: specification design setup implementation verification & validation.
System design of multi megawatt frequency converters while using existing and developing new building blocks
Functional design based on customer specifications standards and guidelines
Design and validation of control functions for frequency converters in regard to grid compliance and drive train applications by support of simulation models and analysis programs
Development of harmonic suppression filter circuits including component selection
Analysis of system malfunctions and implementation of mitigating solutions in your field of play
Efficient use of design supporting tools e.g. requirement management system DFMEA risc assessment trade studies
Consider the project performing indicators: time scope budget and quality.
Keep high technical knowhow level together with your team through cross functional trainings by using adequate channels e.g. online trainings fairs and conferences
