Develops implements and coordinates effective systems to evaluate and improve interdisciplinary quality care. Provides assistance in the areas of continuous quality improvement as a resource for all disciplines. Supports the philosophy and mission of NCH by leading the performance improvement initiatives linked to NCHs strategic plan.
Essential Functions:- Supports interdisciplinary quality improvement activities to meet compliance standards.
- Collaborates with all disciplines to improve patient care through facilitation tracking trending followup and communication of indicator results.
- Provides continuous quality improvement education and collaborates with staff to identify resources and educational needs to achieve performance goals.
- Assists with compliance standards as they apply to hospital departments committees and care processes.
- Communicates quality outcomes data and patient satisfaction data to the staff and committees.
- Develops and maintains tools to use in monitoring quality data.
- Assists in the development of policies and procedures for the ambulatory departments.
Education Requirement:- Associates Degree in a Clinical Business Education or related field required.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.

Skills:- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees clinicians managers and external groups.

Experience:Two years experience in quality improvement preferred.
