PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Manage student learning in accordance with the goals and directives of the school and the division
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Some College Hours preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of instructional practices in a school setting
Ability to follow lesson a plan
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with staff students and community members
Conflict resolution skills
Discipline management skills
Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
Technology skills preferred
Work Conditions:
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; bending/stooping pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including keyboarding; reaching
Lifting: Lifting and carrying (less than 50 pounds)
Environment: Must be able to work with frequent interruptions and maintain professional demeanor under stress; must wear professional attire
Minimum Experience:
Prior employment experience working with schoolaged children preferred
Prior exoerience working in a school settingpreferred
