Position Summary
The Senior Coordinator Medical Advancement will work with the Associate Vice Chancellors of Medical Advancement and the Grateful Patient Acquisition Program to play a critical role for the success of Medical Advancement development efforts serving as the touchpoint for a broad range of daily activities projects and initiatives. This position requires great discretion in communicating with various constituents including alumni donors School of Medicine leaders and faculty as well as handling confidential and sensitive information regarding alumni prospects donors faculty and staff. Position responsibilities include highlevel project management indepth technology usage as well as internal and external relationship development and management.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide highlevel support to the Associate Vice Chancellors for Medical Advancement. Responsibilities include:
- Complex calendaring
- Making travel/meeting/event arrangements
- Preparation of meeting agendas for:
- AVCs team
- MA leadership
- and School of Medicine leaders
- Manage ARCH activity
- Tracking of teams budget and expenses
- Serves as a resource for AVCs in managing special projects which may include preparing editing and proofreading documents and completing other duties as assigned to support goals of Medical Advancement.
Serve as project manager for Medical Advancements expanded Grateful Patient Acquisition Program. With guidance from the Senior Director of Donor Participation and Pipeline Development the Coordinator will participate in the daily activities pertaining to the planning and of GPAPs scheduled set of solicitations (digital and direct mail) for WashU Medicine and Siteman Cancer Center. Duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Acknowledgements of newly acquired donors by Med Adv
- Facilitate stewardship touchpoints
- Until the donor journey functionality is in place help manage the process of sending predefined emails to the appropriate recipients.
Ensure efficient and productive internal partnerships build and maintain strong relationships with administrative support professionals across the Medical School enterprise. Connect prospective donors or thirdparty organizers with the appropriate director or colleague.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$25.47 $39.49 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including ones qualifications and performance equity with others in the department market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
