Job Description:
We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Counsel with a focus on Bribery & to support clients in highly regulated industries. In this role you will work on a variety of compliance matters including antibribery investigations thirdparty risk assessments and financial crime reviews. This is an excellent opportunity for junior to midlevel attorneys looking to apply their skills to meaningful work in an inhouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on and conducting investigations under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
- Handling PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) reviews denied party screenings and OFAC risk assessments.
- Performing due diligence on third parties and managing antibribery/ controls.
- Supporting financial crime and sanctions compliance programs.
- Working closely with compliance teams to review and escalate potential violations or red flags.
- Handling both lowlevel and complex initial reviews and assisting with escalation matters inhouse.
Qualifications:
- 36 years of experience in antibribery and financial crimes compliance.
- Solid understanding of the FCPA OFAC regulations and global sanctions frameworks.
- Prior inhouse experience with compliance reviews investigations or escalation processes.
- Excellent analytical communication and judgment skills.
- Juris Doctor or equivalent and licensed to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with AML regulations whistleblower response protocols and thirdparty lifecycle management.
- Comfort working in highvolume or highstakes global compliance environments.
Compensation Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $120000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits 401K and more.
