The Failure Analysis team at Marvell owns the entire Failure Analysis (FA) process for both customer returns and internal qualification and production support. This team works closely with internal crossfunctional teams and external vendors to perform root cause analysis and drive necessary corrective and preventive actions.What You Can Expect
Support failure analysis inspection tasks (optical IR Xray SAM)
Rework on customer returns with die removal package reconditioning and reball
Perform backside milling for 2.5D/3D packaging sample preparation using CNC milling tools
Prepare samples with backside Si thinning for FIB and fault isolation work.
Provide timely updates and summary reports on analysis results
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related fields and 35 years of related professional experience. Masters degree and/or PhD in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related fields with 23 years of experience.
Minimum 2 years experience using Allied Xprep or Ultra Tec ASAP tools
Ability to work independently as a selfstarter and creates solutions with flexibility adjusting to changing priorities.
Ability to work with crossfunctional teams to drive for root cause analysis
Nicetohaves
Handson experience with mechanical polishing micro probing CSAM and 3D Xray
Experience with basic electrical tools and methods such as Digital Multimeter (DMM) Oscilloscopes Power Supplies.
Familiar with physical failure analysis techniques such as thermal emission and photon emission.
Experience with 8D Problem solving
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
$ per annumThe successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on jobrelated skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
