Overview:
The Division provides primary and specialty care to children and adults with complex medical needs. Our service is holistic familycentered and aims to improve health outcomes by reducing fragmentation of care. The Division includes the Complex Health Care Clinic the Comprehensive Cerebral Palsy Program the Comprehensive Pediatric Feeding Program and a consultative inpatient service.
The successful candidate will join an expanding division that consists of an interdisciplinary team of physicians nurse practitioners social workers dieticians care coordinators nurses and a pharmacist. Opportunities exist to join any of the Divisions programs as well as other teams at Nationwide Childrens Hospital.
Research quality improvement and education are core activities of the department. Our program is the lead site for the Cerebral Palsy Research Network. We are actively involved in improving the care for all children in Ohio through our Accountable Care Organization Partners for Kids.
Candidates must be BC/BE in Pediatrics. Other specialists and graduating residents are welcome to apply. Academic rank is open and commensurate with experience. Candidates must have excellent communication skills be able to think critically have a strong medical background to provide outstanding medical care and understand the importance of teamwork. Interest in research or education is preferred. Mentorship is available for a successful early career candidate.
