For more information please visit Statement The incumbentof this position is an integral component of the Delaware Hospital for theChronically Ills clinical leadership team. Work includes directing a largenursing department in a skilled nursing facility in accordance with federal andstate Long Term Care (LTC) regulations and standards of nursing responsibilities include supervision of clinical nursing practice qualityassurance survey preparedness and performance initiatives. The incumbent willcollaborate with interdisciplinary team leaders to provide the highest possiblequality of care and quality of life for all residents. Essential functions are fundamental core functions common to positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of every job duty for any one position in the class. JOB REQUIREMENTS for Nursing Director Applicants must have education training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Nursing Director Long Term Care Nursing Preemployment Drug Testing: Upon a conditional offer you must undergo preemployment drug testing as part of the hiring process. Upon a conditional offer the applicant must undergo a preemployment base line two step tuberculin skin test (TST) as part of the hiring process. Criminal background check: A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire. The recruiting agency may require the applicant to pay for the criminal background check as part of the conditional offer of hire. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
