Reports to the assigned Special Education Facilitator; assists in the development of curriculum to meet the individual needs of students conducts inservice training and conducts IEP conferences.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Ability equal to that resulting from satisfactory completion of courses required for graduation with a Masters degree from an accredited college or university and generic certification in special education.
Capability equivalent to that normally achieved through at least five years of successful teaching in special education.
SKILL RELATED
Louisiana Type A Teaching Certificate with generic certification in Special Education.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
