The Office of Resilience and Climate Action team is looking for a Planner 3 to make a real impact preparing for climate resilience risks by implementing and overseeing Pierce Countys Sustainability 2030 plan. As a liaison to County departments and community partners your collaborative and project management activities will involve meeting facilitation outreach and engagement and ensuring targets are met in the implementation of the Sustainability 2030 plan. You will need to know the Microsoft Office suite and Smartsheet as well as strong knowledge in writing reports providing meaningful content and presentation savvy for our communications team. Having knowledge and a desire to be involved in the actions within our built environment transportation waste reduction and sustainability are very desirable for this position to work towards creating a healthy and clean future.

You will develop an expertise in working on an array of climate resilience strategies in the public sector and you will be a part of how local government works.
