As a Childcare Practitioner (ASN) youll work oneonone with amazing children and young people planning and creating a variety of fun and engaging play and social activities tailored to their unique needs and interests.
What Youll Do
Activity Planning:Create fun and engaging activities that brighten each childs day.
Comprehensive Care:Provide essential support including moving and handling personal care and medication administration.
Provide Nutritious Snacks:Support the safe consumption of healthy snacks that cater to dietary and nutritional needs.
Memorable Experiences:Develop a program of social activities tailored to each childs individual needs and preferences. Use a variety of communication methods to engage and include the young people in a range of activities and experiences.
This role is as varied as the wonderful children and young people youll be working with ensuring no two days are the same!

The Person
If you are someone who:
Is fun engaging adaptable passionate about working with children and young people
Has experience of working with children and young people within a play care or learning setting
Is willing to work towards the SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or already holds a suitable qualification

Before confirming to your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
As this role requires SSSC registration the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
