An Associate engineer planner is responsible for supporting the planning coordination and of engineering projects. The role involves managing project documentation coordinating resources tracking timelines and facilitating communication between departments to ensure that projects run smoothly on time and within budget.
- Support project planning and scheduling by tracking project timelines deadlines and milestones.
- Assist in resource allocation ensuring that necessary tools materials and personnel areavailable for engineering projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to align schedules and address potentialdelays.
- Maintain and update engineering documentation drawings specifications and technical files.
- Ensure all documents are properly controlled and compliant with company standards and regulatoryrequirements.
- Assist in preparing technical reports project summaries and compliance documentation.
- Create update and manage BOMs to ensure accuracy in parts materials and specifications.
- Facilitate meetings distribute project updates and follow up on action items as needed.
- Coordinate with inventory management and procurement teams to ensure necessary materials andcomponents are available for projects.
- Track and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) to ensure that project plans and documentsreflect uptodate specifications.
- Assist with compliance checks regulatory documentation and quality control processes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Understanding of engineering principles related to the specific industry.
- Familiarity with project planning and scheduling software.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues analyze data and come up with solutions to keep projects ontrack.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to report progress explain technical aspects andcoordinate with stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Project Management Engineering Technology or related field

- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
