6:30 am 3:00pm/ Full Time/ 40 Hours
Salary range $17.95$24.86
Wereseeking aAnesthesia Technician Emory TEC Clinic Hospital responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety and care for all patients.
This individual will:
- Ensures the availability of supplies for the provision of anesthesia services.
- Sets up stocks and maintains specialty carts and machines anesthesia agents and IV fluids including the exchange of medication trays. Maintains equipment and related supplies in aseptic condition.
- Cleans and disinfects contaminated medical equipment retrieves medical equipment and devices from other areas of the hospital. Follows federal JCAHO and organizational guidelines for sterile techniques and infection control.
- Disinfecting of Equipment Responsibility Description: Cleans and disinfects contaminated anesthesia machine monitor cables and other key medical equipment.
- Anesthesia Turnover and Stocking
- Anesthesia Techs may be required to stock Medications Kits/ Cassettes trays or carts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- and one 1 year of healthcare related work experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
