The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to be part of the Single Assessment Service (SAS) aged care assessment program for IPC Health. Working with a supportive internal team and collaborating with a consortium of partner organisations you will possess exceptional customer service skills and experience working in the health or aged care sectors. The SAS program supports older persons who are 65 years and above(or 50 years for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people) who are eligible for aged care services and supports across Hobsons Bay Brimbank Wyndham and Melton LGAs.
You will provide strong administrative support working closely and in collaboration with our full time Administration Officer to our team of multidisciplinary Aged Cared Assessors to ensure coordinated and collaborative service delivery enabling high quality care to our clients. Your duties would include but not limited to providing a friendly welcoming and highly professional point of our engagement for our clients project partners and key stakeholders supporting administration functions across the team assisting with client appointment diary management collecting client information in a sensitive manner and with respect to privacy and confidentiality. Your welldeveloped technical skills including Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel will enable you to further support the team with accurate and timely client record management data collection and reporting to support program objectives.
The role is a Part time 3 days per week) and Fixed Term (Special Project) opportunity until 30 June 2027.
You will make a difference by
Applying your exceptional customer service skills to provide friendly engaging and highly professional point of contact for clients program partners and key stakeholders engaged with the My Aged Care Single Assessment Service.
Providing outstanding administrative support to the team enabling a coordinated and collaborative service delivery and high quality care to our clients
Demonstrating your exceptional ability to engage and develop relationships with diverse communities with a focus on older persons
Utilizing your ability to collect information in a sensitive manner with regard to cultural requirements language issues diverse communication needs privacy and confidentiality.
Applying your strong knowledge and understanding of the aged care system including My Aged Care.
Being an active participant in a multidisciplinary team with a shared commitment to executing quality improvement process to enhance the service model and achieve the best client outcomes.
To succeed you will need:
A minimum of 2 years experience providing a high level of administration support including but not limited to direct client support calendar/diary management use of interpreter services and meeting coordination to a multidisciplinary team in a health or aged care setting.
Sound and demonstrated administrative skills including data entry for accurate client record management and highquality reporting to support program objectives.
Excellent customer service skill with ability to effectively and professionally engage with a range of internal and external stakeholder.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills taking initiative to plan work efficiently and proactively to meet required deadlines.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Welldeveloped technical skills including experience in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel and ability to adapt to new systems.
Working with Childrens Check Police Check and current and valid Victorian drivers licence.
