Department Title: Intern Quantitative Research (OShaughnessy Asset Management)

Requirements: The candidate must be pursuing their Masters degree in a math or science field (mathematics financial engineering computer science etc. MBA or CFA. Additionally the candidate must have coding skills.

Position Summary:

We are responsible for the research underlying equity stock selection tax loss harvesting and risk management of the Canvas investment platform.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for candidates to apply their technical skills to realworld datasets and to pursue both independent and teambased research projects in signal extraction risk management tax management optimization and portfolio construction.

Team Culture:

The team consists of multiple researchers passionate about investing and solving client problems at scale. The problems we tackle are often novel so quantitative creativity is required. Our work is to oversee and enhance the capabilities on our Canvas investment platform. The team is spread out across the country but meets frequently in person (for those in Stamford or New York) and via video calls for the rest of the team.

Compensation Range:This is a fulltime internship where students will work approximately 3540 hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $35 USD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
