Responsibilities:
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks applicants to teach undergraduate courses in one or more of the following fields: Introduction to Sociology and Society Sociology of Mental Health Gender; Poverty; Urban Sociology; Race and Ethnicity; Social Movements; Sociology of the Family; Disability; Work and Organizations; and other undergraduate courses. Seeking instructors able to teach on ground on the Boston campus or online asynchronously. Applicants will be expected to deliver lectures develop assignments grade assignments and hold appropriate office hours.
Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.
Qualifications:
M.A. Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred. Preference will be given to persons experienced in teaching large and diverse groups of students.
