Construction Forman
We are looking for a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
A construction foreman has a solid background in the field. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be wellorganized and favor safety above everything else.
Construction Foreman is responsible for planning implementing and managing construction tasks. The duties would include:
- Producing employee and project schedules
- Managing and monitoring members attendance and work
- Adhering to relevant safety regulations
- Managing and guiding the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitoring expenditures and keeping the budget in check
- Peacefully resolving any emerging problems and issues
- Providing accurate accounting of materials and return of unused or salvagematerials.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as construction foreman
- Indepth knowledge of construction procedures equipment and OSHA guidelines
- Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read drawings plans andblueprints.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and reporteffectively.
- Aptitude in math
- Problemsolving abilities
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician carpenter etc.
