Job Description
Miami Dade College (MDC) is seeking knowledgeable and dedicated professionals to join our team as Adjunct Faculty in Health Sciences and Related Studies at our Medical Campus. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the education and training of future healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive academic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and highquality instruction in Health Sciences courses.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with program curricula and industry standards.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning.
- Assess student performance through evaluations projects and clinical competencies.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students fostering their professional growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in healthcare education.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements. ;
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Health Science Nursing or an Allied Health discipline (e.g. Dental Hygiene Diagnostic Medical Sonography Physician Assistant Dietetics Medical Technology Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy Radiography Respiratory Therapy SpeechLanguage Pathology);OR
- Associates degree in a healthcarerelated field (e.g. Dental Hygiene Diagnostic Medical Sonography Dietetics Emergency Medical Services Medical Assisting Medical Technology Occupational Therapy Physician Assistant Physical Therapy Radiography Respiratory Therapy SpeechLanguage Pathology).
- Valid licensure or certification in one of the abovereferenced Allied Health or Healthcare fields.
- A minimum of three 3 years of fulltime work and/or instructional experience in the field.
- Ability to function well in a technological environment and willing to use technological tools in instruction
- Ability to work well with students faculty staff and the community
- Ability to work in a multiethnic/multicultural environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
