Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- 25.96 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- up to 20 hours per week
- 100 Remote Work Availability: Yes
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
Research assistant to work in the application of SAGE satellite data.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with processing SAGE satellite data
- Assist with crop modeling efforts
- Need a junior researcher who has experiences in both satellite data processing and agricultural modeling.
Required Competencies
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements
- Attending Atmospheric Sciences graduate classes in Fall.
- Strong background in software and programming skills.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
