Overview
We are Hiring at University Hospital
Location: 530 S Jackson St. Louisville KY 40202
Shift Options: FULLTIME NIGHTS 7P7A
About the Unit
8 West is a 10bed surgical trauma intensive care unit. Clinicians on this unit enjoy caring for a variety of injuries as a result of auto accidents falls gun shots etc. Our patients may range in age from 16 (if size of an adult) to 99 years old. The other strength of this unit is the staffs skills in working with families friends and loved ones of their patients.
Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associatess degree from accredited college or University
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from accredited college or University
