Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $16.0018.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 40 hours per week
- 100 Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position in Dr. Asthanas computational research lab. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing quantum algorithms for applications in chemistry
- Testingquantum algorithms for applications in chemistry
Required Competencies
- Proficient in python programming
- Strong background in linear algebra
- Strong background in physics and physical chemistry concepts
Minimum Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry Physics Computer science or related fields
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
