Job Description
THIS POSTING IS FOR EXTERNAL APPLICANTS WHO HAVE BEEN OFFERED A SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIALIST POSITION.
Job Summary
Serves as a 12 month teacher to support schools and teachers.
Essential Functions
1. Facilitates lesson planning assessment and integration ofstandards into classroom routines andmodels best practices.
2. Serves as a liaison between the district offices and the school.
3. Supports teachers and schools as well as students within the classroom setting.
4. Coordinates and/or conducts staff development.
5.Communicates vision and goalsof district and builds program support.
6. Locates and assists with acquiring appropriate resources instructional materials supplies and equipment.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Experience:Five years successful teaching experience in the relevant content area.
Certifications & Licenses:Current Florida Department of Education Certificate in relevant content area.
