Job Description
- Prepare and file sales tax returns across multiple states and entities
- Support annual reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions
- Help calculate and prepare 1099 forms
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings and mailings
- Process tax payments and confirm ontime remittance
- Keep documentation and spreadsheets organized and up to date
- Tackle special projects and additional duties as needed
- A solid foundation in accounting principles and a genuine interest in tax
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A proactive mindset and the ability to meet deadlines in a fastmoving environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- Internship or parttime experience in tax accounting or finance
- Experience assisting with tax filings or document preparation
