As part of PwC Canadas Products & Technology (P&T) organization this role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute towards cuttingedge Gen AI solutions that will shape how PwC delivers value to our clients and our people. You will have an opportunity to work with a team of talented technology and business specialists to deliver tailored Gen AI tools that transform key areas of our business and to foster a culture of innovation within PwC.As a Senior Microsoft Azure Developer you will develop Generative AI tools plugins microservices and extensions and will be instrumental in delivering innovation highquality solutions that meet and exceed PwCs commitment to innovation client satisfaction and continued technological growth.
Meaningful work youll be part of
As a Senior Microsoft AI Developer youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliver highquality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop AI Agents (Custom Autonomous) and custom solutions using Graph Connectors API plugins frontend tools/frameworks and Azure AI Services (Azure OpenAI AI Search etc) and AI Foundry
Develop productiongrade generative AI plugins extensions and microservices using OpenAI / Azure OpenAI
Produce clean maintainable and efficient code based on defined specifications
Perform code reviews and provide peer coaching/guidance to other team members
Collaborate with teams of developers across multiple regions
Support Business Analysts in collecting and/or clarifying business requirements
Actively participate in team standups
Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
Proactively assist in assessing technology solutions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our application development lifecycle
Applying a continuous improvement mindset to leverage the latest AI tools and technologies and deliver innovative solutions
Experiences and skills youll use to solve
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or similar
- Microsoft .Net Development Certification and Azure Services certifications are preferred
- Experience working in agile teams and with product delivery
- Has worked extensively in large scale software solution implementations with handson experience
- Serviceoriented eventdriven and microservices architectures
- Experience with databases such as relational databases vector databases data stores and appropriate use cases
- Experience with software development project tools and defect tracking systems like Azure DevOps
- Experience working with high level UX principles such as user stories persona building prototype/prototype development approaches
- Knowledge of agile software development lifecycles (SDLC) and experience working on projects that follow an Agile Scrum methodology
- Technologies you may use Docker and/or Kubernetes CI/CD using ADO pipeline or Git actions APIbased integration development Teams Toolkit for Visual Studio Code extension Teams AI Library Python Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI Graph connectors
