We are looking for a Principal Product Manager tech who is analytical resourceful customerfocused and teamoriented with written and verbal communication skills to drive decisions at the senior executive level. A successful candidate should thrive in a collaborative creative and fastpaced environment with a proven track record in taking on endtoend ownership and successfully delivering results.
This new role is unique in that you will be entrepreneurial while leveraging Amazons resources and scale. You will work closely with a crossdisciplinary team of data and research scientists economists engineers product managers and executives across the FBA business to accelerate our new product development and launch cycle. Key job responsibilities
This is a highly visible role that requires partnering with FBA teams Seller Services Operations and Finance teams to impact both Amazons top and bottom line. As a member of the FBA Inbound team you will play a key role in shaping Amazons FBA business with the following technical product management and leadership responsibilities:
Own a portfolio of innovative sellerfacing management tools from ideation stage to launch.
Develop and write proposals and business plans gain approval from stakeholders (e.g. adjacent product managers legal PR) and leadership to move those plans forward
Collaborate with scientists and product managers as well as operations teams user experience teams and seller support teams to create product vision and road map for tools used by third party sellers
Work closely with scientists and software developers to build minimum viable products

FBA team focuses on driving seller growth and reducing costs for the fastgrowing FBA business by effectively managing our supply chain. Sellers are a critical part of Amazons ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering our customers the Earths largest selection and lowest prices. FBA enables Sellers to provide fast and efficient delivery to customers using Amazon fulfillment services. In 2022 Sellers used FBA to fulfill billions of customer orders shipping more than half of all products offered on Amazon. To our customers FBA provides a broad and diverse inventory of products from apparel books electronics to consumables with many of them available with 1Day shipping. This is a unique space where we innovate using various management science tools such as optimization econometrics machine learning market/contract design behavioral and experimental sciences to solve novel problems at scale. We work full stack from foundational backend systems to futureforward user interfaces.

Bachelors degree
10 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
