HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Under direction of the Service Line Administrator has 24hour responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy goals policies and procedures of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) and the Structural Heart Service (SHS) and their effects on patient care.
- Is responsible for developing implementing and maintaining a care system for structural heart patients and their families throughout the care continuum.
- Works both independently and in collaboration with the Structural Heart CoManagement Chair and other members of the health care team and the management staff.
- Is selfdirected and selfmotivated.
- Plans and conducts work with minimal direction and reports work progress to the SLA and the Structural Heart CoManagement Council.
Reports To:
- Service Line Administrator Cardiology
Supervises:
- Medicus Select (MS)/Medical Assistant
- MS/Licensed Practical Nurse
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in nursing
Preferred Educcation:
- Masters degree in nursing
Required Experience:
- Three 3 years of relevant jobrelated experience
Preferred Experience:
- Two 2 years of relevant management experience.
- Structural heart experience.
- Program development experience.
- Performance improvement (PI) experience.
- Program management experience (including structural heart program staff supervision and program marketing).
- Expert clinical skills.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in cardiovascular nursing.
- Expert case management skills.
- Teaching skills.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Current Florida RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
