The One Stop Coordinator provides comprehensive support and services to students at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Charlotte Campus. The One Stop Coordinator position often serves as the first point of interaction with the School of Medicine. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for students by acting as a central point of contact for Enrollment Services(MD Admissions Student Records Financial Aid Visiting Learner Management Bursar and other administrative departments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in related field and 3 years experience; or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
Essential Functions
- Student Support: Provide excellent customer service and support to students addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to Enrollment Services Bursars Office and other administrative areas.
- Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between departments to ensure efficient and effective communication and collaboration in delivering student services. Coordinates day to day operations for One Stop Student Services on the Charlotte Campus. Proactively ensures a high quality first impression of the School of Medicine; demonstrates a positive attitude and approach to maintain a professional welcoming environment; ensures excellence in timely communications.
- Advising: Support MD Admissions by advising potential applicants of admission requirements and application processes.Assists and guides students on navigating the student information system selfservice features.
- Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating student events and tours to enhance the student experience and support the recruitment process.
- Data Management: Utilize systems and business application to maintain accurate student records.
- Compliance: Responsible for the daytoday interpretation implementation and communication of policies and procedures. Independently interprets and applies relevant policies procedures and guidelines to identify and explain the steps required to enable students and their families to navigate the medical school experience.
- Problem Solving: Assists students in making informed decisions by providing ethical timely accurate and comprehensive options.Identifies potential barriers within student processes and initiates steps resulting in resolution; makes independent determinations decisions and recommendations; refers issues to appropriate specialized resources when appropriate follow up and coordination with team members in and/or outside of their functional area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the School of Medicines goals and operational excellence.

- Ability to work autonomously to solve complex student issues through the analysis of data and drawing conclusions to make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to independently plan and organize tasks without need for constant direct supervision ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and speed; and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Outstanding customer service skills including interpersonal and active listening skills along with an analytical and critical thinking ability to interpret and respond appropriately to diverse groups of people in various situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and complete tasks in a fastpaced environment amidst interruptions and fluctuating workloads.
- Ability to exercise appropriate personal initiative and accountability
- Experience in understanding explaining and applying the laws rules regulations policies procedures specifications standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience in exercising discretion and handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in using student information systems and office software.
