Job Description

Impairment Benefit Coordinator

  • Full time fixed term 12month position
  • Geelong office location with flexible hybrid working
  • Offering a competitive starting base salary of $100919 plus superannuation

Right now were seeking an Impairment Benefit Coordinator who will continue to play their part in caring for the lives of everyone on Victorias roads. Someone wholl bring their authentic selves to work stand up for whats right and collaborate in a team to improve the everyday for Victorians our colleagues and our partners.

About the role

The Impairment Benefit Coordinator is a unique role that gives you the ability to make a difference to the lives of our clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and determining their possible entitlement to an Impairment benefit and/or common law compensation in accordance with the Transport Accident Act 1986.

About the Team

This role will be a part of our Impairment Team within our Impairment and Medical Examinations Branch of the Clients Resolutions area. This is a high performing and result driven team who are collaborative and supportive.

What were looking for

Experience in a fast paced environment

Demonstrated experience in a high volume fast paced working environment whilst managing competing priorities and adhering to timelines.

Proven Communication skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate with external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

Strong Decision Making

The ability to analyse interpret and evaluate complex medical information legislation policy and legal processes. Demonstrated experience in exercising sound judgement when making a decision to determine clients benefits.
