Supply Chain Demand Planning Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst will experience in Supply Chain Demand Planning In this role you will play crucial role in Supply Chain Demand planning BI Project which aims to enhance visibility efficiency and decisionmaking within the supply chain through advanced business intelligence solutions. This role will be responsible for analyzing business needs designing and developing data solutions creating insightful visualizations and providing actionable insights to optimize supply chain operations reduce costs and improve service delivery. The Business Analyst will work closely with development teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and user adoption.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of San Jose CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

Required Qualification
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 Years of experience in Information Technology.
Experience in ETL development process
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and data.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with both onpremises (e.g. Teradata Oracle) and cloudbased databases (e.g. Snowflake GCP).
Handson experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI including the ability to create interactive dashboards and reports.
Experience in applying analytical algorithms and statistical methods to derive business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably within a supply chain or business intelligence environment.
Familiarity with data integration and automation concepts and tools.
Understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a 1 team
Ability to work in a collaborative multiapplication team environment.
Data Requirements and Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into clear and concise data requirements for the development of ETL processes. Define data mapping rules and business logic for data transformation. Participate in the design of data models and data flows.
Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct indepth data analysis to identify trends patterns and anomalies within the supply chain data. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical questions and apply analytical algorithms and statistical methods to provide actionable insights and business solutions with demonstrable results.
Data Integration and Automation Requirements: Gather and document business requirements for data integration between various systems and for the automation of datarelated processes. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure these requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Participate in the testing of data integrations and automated workflows.
Identify Business Opportunities and Solutions through Data Analysis: Apply analytical techniques and statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends patterns and opportunities for business improvement within the supply chain. Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and propose business solutions with clearly defined potential benefits and expected outcomes.
Enable Business User SelfService Analytics: Understand business users needs for data exploration dynamic analysis and sophisticated analysis. Define requirements for userfriendly BI solutions and tools that empower business users to perform their own analysis generate reports and gain insights independently. Potentially provide training and support to business users on utilizing these capabilities
