Job Description
We are seeking a Ruby and Ruby on Rails Developer to develop and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has experience with Ruby Rails MySQL Apache JavaScript CSS Linux and Git/Gerrit. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to design implement and optimize web solutions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and enhance Ruby on Rails applications.
- Design and optimize MySQL database schemas and queries.
- Configure and maintain Apache web server environments.
- Implement frontend components using JavaScript and CSS.
- Work with Linuxbased environments for deployment and server management.
- Use Git/Gerrit for version control code reviews and collaboration.
- Ability to understand different frameworks and integration with web application.
- Debug and optimize applications to improve performance and scalability.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in web development.
- Collaborate with other developers designers and stakeholders to deliver highquality solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Ruby and handson experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of MySQL including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with Apache configuration and web hosting.
- Frontend development skills in JavaScript and CSS.
- Proficient in working on Linux environments for application deployment and system management.
- Proficiency with Git/Gerrit for version control and code review workflows.
- Strong debugging and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Interview Process: After submitting your application one of our recruiters will review your resume. If your application passes this stage you will be invited to a 30minute interview during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the interview you will enter the main process which can consist of up to four interviews in total:
- Coding assessment: Often in a language of your choice.
- Systems design: Translate highlevel requirements into a scalable faulttolerant service (depending on role).
- Realtime problemsolving: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problemsolving session.
- Meet and greet with the wider team.
- Our goal is to finish the main process in 23 weeks at most.
