Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Firmware Engineer to join our team and lead the design development and optimization of our Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines. As a Staff Firmware Engineer focused on CI you will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the continuous delivery of highquality software in support of our firmware development and QA teams. You will play a critical role in streamlining our software release processes improving automation and contributing to the overall performance and scalability of our CI/CD infrastructure.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in office in Colorado Springs three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintainperformantandmaintainablecodetosolvetechnicalproblems in our automated firmware development testing environment.
- Identify opportunities for automation within the framework and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- API integration with various tools and languages including shell scripting.
- In depth traceback analysis for triaging software deployment and test failures.
- Act as a key point of contact for resolving issues related to CI/CD pipelines build failures or deployment problems.
- Participation in scrum team activities.
- Work closely with software engineers DevOps and quality assurance teams to ensure that integration and deployment processes are optimized.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and promote best practices in CI/CD and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 8 yearsofsoftwaredevelopmentexperience with C Python in Linux environments.
- Strongsoftwaredevelopmentlifecycleexperience (create/maintain/deploy/unittest)
- Strong experience with docker/container implementation.
- Strong experience in API integrationwith various tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or Groovy.
- Handson experience withGit JIRA Jenkins and Gerrit is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and problemsolving skills
- Very good written/verbal communication skills in English
This position requires participation in an oncall rotation to provide afterhours support as needed.
The salary range is determined by factors such as skills location and experience: $123312 $200000

If you clear the interview you will enter the main process which can consist of up to four interviews in total:
- Coding assessment: Often in a language of your choice.
- Systems design: Translate highlevel requirements into a scalable faulttolerant service (depending on role).
- Realtime problemsolving: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problemsolving session.
- Meet and greet with the wider team.
- Our goal is to finish the main process in 23 weeks at most.
