Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to senior secondary classes (Grade 11 and 12 developing curriculum plans preparing lesson materials and fostering a love for language and literature in students.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English to students of Grades 11 and 12 following the prescribed curriculum (CBSE).
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students reading writing speaking and comprehension skills.
Prepare academic lesson plans unit plans and instructional materials.
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student progress.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active learning and student participation.
Encourage students to participate in extracurricular literary activities such as debates elocutions writing competitions etc.
Attend parentteacher meetings training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Stay updated with current trends in education and pedagogy.
Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in English . (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred.
Excellent command of English language spoken and written.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Familiarity with technologyenabled teaching and online learning platforms.
