Job DescriptionAirgas is Hiring for a Electro/Mechanical Technician!

  • This positions location is Cheshire CT

Summary:

  • Technical ability to assemble repair and maintain all Airgas systems

  • Electrical/Mechanical expertise in installing maintaining testing and troubleshooting equipment

  • Ability to differentiate and resolve equipment electrical mechanical and IT related issues providing root causes and mitigation actions.

  • Liaison with Production Management Engineering IT and safety personnel at all sites

  • Ability to efficiently plan and execute all service requirements in the field while implementing new installs nationwide.

  • PCB Testing

  • Provide technical service support via phone and email

  • Diagnose test or analyze the performance of electrical components assemblies or systems.

  • Set up and operate standard or specialized testing equipment

  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service

  • Pack and process orders for shipments

  • Inventory management

  • Other job duties as may be assigned

Are you a MATCH

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required(Associate Degree in a technical field a plus)

  • Experience with Google suite (Docs Sheets)

  • Able to save and maintain electronic files

  • Up to 40 travel required

Preferred:

  • Advanced computer skills (IP network connectivity).

  • Network skills (basic router setup).

  • A or MCSE a plus
