Qualifications youll bring:

  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience Education and or experience
  • 35 years of sales experience required preferably in Medicare or health insurance.
  • 12 years of leadership or sales management experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing sales teams developing sales strategies and meeting enrollment goals.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience coaching and mentoring a sales team.
  • Strong public speaking presentation written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data track performance and implement process improvements.
  • Knowledge of CMS marketing and sales guidelines for Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel).
  • Strong problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a diverse multiethnic environment and engage with Medicareeligible populations.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus.
  • ActiveNYS Accident & Health Insurance License required (must maintain continuous licensure).
  • Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for frequent travel within assigned territories.
  • A willingness to travel 90 throughout the designated territory.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supervise mentor and provide ongoing training to a team of Medicare Sales Representatives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates address challenges and share best practices.
  • Conduct monthly quarterly probationary and annual staff performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement territory sales strategies to achieve company enrollment goals.
  • Oversee lead generation efforts ensuring Sales Representatives effectively utilize outreach networking and community engagement.
  • Monitor sales activity and track enrollment performance ensuring sales goals are met.
  • Work closely with marketing to optimize sales events and promotional opportunities.
  • Ensure the sales team adheres to CMS regulations and corporate compliance policies.
  • Review applications in CRM (Dynamics 365 to ensure data integrity accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior centers communitybased organizations medical provider offices and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and field operations to plan and execute sales events in the community.
  • Track and analyze sales performance data providing regular reports to leadership.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales effectiveness and enhance customer engagement.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for sales events and community outreach.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Medicare sales team.
  • Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
