Our Bedford office is looking foran Environmental Graduate Technician ready to join our Contaminated Site Assess & Remediation team growing in Canada.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Perform Phase I to III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs);
  • Perform Emergency Response (ER) services for environmental spills/releases;
  • Conduct field activities that include sampling of groundwater soil soil vapour sediment and/or surface water;
  • Perform oversight of excavation and drilling activities;
  • Implement and enforce health and safety plans on construction sites;
  • Providing accurate field notes;
  • Complete topographic surveying and survey layouts;
  • Supervise subcontractors on the sites;
  • Project task coordination and ability to oversee projects implement field work and report to Project Team; and
  • Write site reports and other technical documents.

What you will bring to the team:

  • College Diploma in an Environmental/Civil Engineering program;
  • Relevant experience of 02 years in environmental site characterization and rehabilitation;
  • Good information retrieval and information summary skills;
  • Selfmotivated and able to manage multiple tasks;
  • Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Team player cooperate with other staff;
  • Bilingual capabilities considered an asset.
  • Possession of a valid drivers license and a personal vehicle.
  • Autonomous methodical responsible resourceful and punctual person.
  • Available for variable hours/schedule.
  • Available to work on sites throughout the office province or outside the Province on occasion.
