Calling all Electricians and Approved Electricians in Gloucester
Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Electricianor Approved Electricianto join our repairs and maintenance team ina mobile role covering work around Worcester Evesham Tewkesbury and Gloucester and the surrounding areas.
Youll be joining a talentedteam carrying out remedial work general maintenance and repairs across our properties. You will thrive on giving great customer service and keeping jobs on track and have the drive to make sure the work is completed to will have a right firsttime mentality ensuring the Customer is at the centre of everything you do.
The role is varied and no two days are the same! Its a tough task and our expectations are high. In return youll have the support of a great team!
Working for Platform Property Care you will benefit from
- Basic salary of 39290 per annum for an Approved Electrician or 36823 per annum for an Electrician (additional can be earned from voluntary overtime and out of hours)

We want somebody who can:
A team player youll be hard working and keen to learn with a cando attitude. Youll be working in peoples homes so youll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Ideally you will have
- Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation commissioning and certification
- AM2
- City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection
- 18th Edition regulation
- If you do not have your 2391 or equivalent you would be classed as an Electrician 36823 per annum)
We are looking for someone who has:
- Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
- Experience of working for a social Landlord Housing Association or Council.
- Experience of delivering responsive repairs
- Strong customer service skills
- Full current validdriving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role
- As you will be working within Customers homes this role requires a DBS check.
This role will require working on the out of hours rota which includes availability over 7 days including working Saturdays and Sunday.
This role is for a team covering Worcester Evesham Pershore Tewkesbury Bishops Cleeve and Gloucester so you would need to live in this area.
