Principal Missile Defense System Requirements Engineer

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Principal Missile Defense System Requirements Engineerto support our Huntsville ALlocation.

PeopleTec is looking for an amazingly talentedPrincipal Missile Defense System Requirements Engineerto join our team! In this position you will fill a senior role in MDAs System Design and Specification directorate and will support the implementation and of a disciplined systems engineering process to produce Systemlevel technical documents necessary to establish the basis for MDA Program Office subsystem engineering.

Duties:

• Provide support to the development management and planning for current and future missile defense capabilities
• Provide seniorlevel support to the definition management and of requirements traceability; allocation of MDA Technical Core Standards adherence planning
• Provide leadership of the MDA Engineering Requirements Group
• Foster collaborative engineering technical interchanges across the MDA engineering community for requirements development

Required Skills/Experience:

• Technical expertise supporting government and contracting staff in systems and digital engineering
• Experience in MBSE tools (CAMEO) principles and methodologies for development requirements design and analysis of architectures in complex DoD projects
• Experience in the development management and planning for current and future capabilities as they relates to missile defense specifically related to the functional portion of the system
• Experience in reviewing analyzing and providing recommendations on the development addition variances and changes to functional requirements as well as providing quality checks on technical documentation and products
• Seniorlevel experience in document development presentations change requests and other engineering products
• Experience with interacting and supporting high level government customers (Senior NH4 directorlevel and above)
• Understanding of Industry/DoD engineering best practices complemented with mature communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have a minimum of an active Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Masters degree in a STEM field with a minimum 12 years of experience.

Desired Skills:

• INCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification
• Previous MDA experience
• Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes
• Knowledge of ballistic cruise and hypersonic missile defense fundamentals
