Job Description

Introduction

We are looking for a high skilled and motivated General/Estate Manager to oversee the daytoday operations maintenance and development of the estate to ensure smooth running of the estate and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders

Candidate must live in Centurion or nearby area and must be able to speak read and write English and Afrikaans fluently

Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities

1. Facilities Management

  • Oversee the management and of maintenance and renovations for buildings and common areas.
  • Ensure the buildings grounds and facilities are consistently maintained to high standards.
  • Enforce compliance with rules regulations and safety standards across the estate.
  • Serve as the Secretariat for the Facilities Subcommittee of the Homeowners Association (HOA).

2. Finance Management

  • Manage the overall budgets for estate operations ensuring expenditures align with planned financial goals.
  • Monitor costs and implement costsaving measures to drive budget efficiency and savings.
  • Analyze financial performance on a monthly basis and compare it with projections.

3. Staff Contractors and Volunteers Management

  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with internal staff contractors and volunteers.
  • Address staffrelated matters and ensure all team members are supported.
  • Serve as the direct line manager for the Operations Manager and administrative staff.

4. Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners tenants the HOA estate agents developers and architects.
  • Act as a liaison between local authorities and residents to ensure smooth communication.
  • Drive community engagement initiatives and foster a positive environment within the estate.

5. Operations Management

  • Facilitate various portfolio committees and contribute to strategic planning and decisionmaking.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with the estate portfolio.
