Working Hours: 1931.4 annualised hours.
Salary:Dependant on Experience 390 per month Car Cash Allowance trust benefits.
Location: Home working with regular travelling around the Yorkshire & North East & regular meetings at the Leeds Hub.

We are currently recruiting for a Contracts & Compliance Supervisor. The role will be responsible for the supervision of vegetation civil service and other operational contracts operating in the regions; ensuring the works delivered are safe on time to specification and to the required quality standards. Developing an ongoing practical relationship with the contractors delivery teams but representing the Trusts interests via robust contract supervision audit and administration is a fundamental requirement of the role.
The Contracts & Compliance Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the regional teams with site set up and supervision ensuring compliance with CDM temporary works supervision and health and safety requirements helping to deliver work programmes in area teams.
Our Contracts & Compliance Supervisor will work an annualised hours system which includes working statutory holidays and weekends on a rota you must be happy to work in an on call rota. This will include participation in the planning and delivery of a 24/7 on call response to ensure visitor and neighbour safety and satisfaction is maintained at all times.
You will also be working with other staff and volunteers.
Full UK Driving Licence Essential.

Qualifications and Attainments
Work experience Demonstrableexperience of successfully supervising projects or programmes of work with a relevant discipline. Demonstrablecontract management experience and relationship management. Management of projects or programmes of work. Some experience in customer service. Experience of leading volunteers. Relevant heritage and environmental awareness.
Skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Working knowledge of basic computer systems including SAP & Microsoft Office Good numeracy and literacy skills Good organisational skills
Safety Lead by example ensure you take responsibility for the safety of colleagues volunteers contractors and customers. Comply with Canal & River Trusts Health & Safety policy and defined standards. Investigate and report incidents accidents and near misses. Ensure safe use of appropriate equipment prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements ensuring contents are understood and acted upon.
