We are seeking a highly specialised MultiTrade Plumber and Bathroom Fitter to join a dedicated team within the Disabled Adaptations Team atBCP Council.
About the Role:
This role is not a typical bathroom fitter position; it requires advanced skills in plumbing tiling and the installation of level access showers. The successful candidate must have proven experience in installing level access showers including preformed trays Brandon Trays and the ability to dig out and reform in screed a formed shower tray. Additionally they should possess strong knowledge of waste pumps and multitrade skills in plastering and carpentry.
Salary:
38983 to 40093 depending on experience
Hours:
Full Time 39 Hours per week 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday 3:30pm Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Level Access Showers
- Advanced Plumbing and Tiling
- Handling Waste Pumps
- Utilising MultiTrade Skills (Plastering and Carpentry)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 2 or higher qualification in relevant trades
- Proven track record in the installation of level access showers
- Expertise in the installation of preformed trays Brandon Trays and formed shower trays
- Good knowledge of waste pumps
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Duties and Requirements:
- Have a valid and current driving licence as Van is provided.
- You are hardworking enthusiastic and willing to learn with good people skills.
- You are able to work on your own initiative.
- Experience of working on Disability Adaptations is essential.
- You will work from an IPad and all works will be populated from our call centre and scheduled by your planner.
- The IPads are also used for many other applications forms and inspection certification along with regular email communication.
- All uniform and PPE will be provided.
- You dont have any unspent criminal convictions.
**This position is subject to a Basic DBS check**
