Job Description
RPO Recruitments client is looking for a Software Developer to join their team in Centurion Gauteng.
The successful candidate will initially take on the role of a Tester supporting a system currently under development by an external supplier. Once the project is completed the candidate will transition into a Developer role responsible for ongoing development upgrades and system maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Start as a Tester to assist in verifying and validating the current system under development
Transition into a Developer role postproject completion
Maintain improve and enhance the inhouse system
Translate existing Excelbased tools and logic into the new digital system
Ensure data is flowing correctly through templates tables UI and calculations
Work within Agile methodologies using tools like JIRA and MIRO
Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to becoming a selfsufficient development environment
Requirements:
5 years experience in software development
Minimum 2 years experience with OutSystems
Strong experience with Excel including VBA and translating spreadsheets into systems
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
Experience with BackEnd or FullStack development is advantageous
