As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live youll work with people who use our services helping them get to where they want to be.
We have an exciting opportunity for aCriminal Justice Recovery Coordinatorto join our team fulltime in Hastings.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate aboutsupporting individuals on their recovery journey working closely with them to rebuild their confidence skills and connections within their this role youll be working as part of the Criminal Justice Team based in Hastings but working across the county in CGL Probation Courts and Prisons.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual so being flexible curious and a good listener are key.
Youll have to record information about what you do so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time youll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds making a difference to their lives.
Candidates with previous police probation and/or prison vetting clearance are encouraged to apply. However we welcome all applications and successful candidates will be required to undergo the relevant vetting process.

Full Time Hours:37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: 27861..35 (pro rata for parttime hours)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2026
Responsibilities
What Youll Be Doing
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator you will be at the heart of our services providingpersonalised and meaningful supportto individuals navigating the criminal justice system and their recovery journey.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored supportguiding individuals from their first contact with us through to their recovery
- Conducting assessments and recovery planningensuring that support is responsive to individual needs
- Facilitating group workand workshopscreating opportunities for peer support and personal development
- Working in partnershipcollaborating with key agencies including prisons probation courts police and other professionals operating within housing social services social care and health
- Safeguarding and risk managementensuring that all individuals feel safe and supported
- Team work being part of a fastpaced team with competing demands
This role is an opportunity tomake a real impact working with people to help themmove forward in life with confidence and purpose.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in substance misuse and/or criminal justice settings
- Is an excellent communicatorboth written and verbalwith strong IT administrative organisational and recording skills
- Has experience facilitating group sessionsand working directly with service users
- Is proactive and selfmotivatedable to manage a caseload independently while contributing to a team
- Works well with othersbuilding positive relationships with both colleagues and external partners in all sectors including the enforcement agencies.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality ensuring a safe and respectful service environment

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and obtain Police and Ministary Of Justice vetting.
*Please note: Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours
