Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton VA is currently hiring a Full Time Day Shift Cardiovascular NonInvasive Technologist for the NonInvasive Lab.
Hours
Monday Friday: 7am3:30pm along with working one weekend per month on Saturday and Sunday from 7am11am
Overview
Requires EKG application acquisition editing and rhythm recognition; Holter/Event Monitor hookup and scanning; stress testing; report processing and charting; recognize and alert cardiologist to abnormal results. Operate/maintain all equipment in a safe and appropriate manner; complete department documentation; maintain adequate supply inventory to perform procedures; participate in department Performance Initiatives; participate in the professional development of staff and students.

High School Grad or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience
1 year of related work experience required

Other features include specialized services in heart and vascular urologic care along with advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities a hospitalist program and one of the states busiest emergency departments.
