About the Role:

Are you a qualified Allied Health Worker or work within the Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy or Disability industries and a qualified trainer who has delivered the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

Stirling is seeking passionate and experienced trainers to join our dynamic team to facilitate our Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance specialising in Rehabilitation and Reablement Support (HLT43021. Our Certificate IV in Allied Healthis one of Stirlings most popularqualifications with our trainers responsible for delivering handson dynamic training to amazing students from all backgrounds and demographics.

To be able to teach this qualification you must have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 and a qualification or suitable experience in Community Services.

What your engagement will look like:

  • Your core role is to deliver dynamic training to students support them through their pathway and to mark their assignments. There is no requirement for you to create or write training content.
  • Our Training is blended both online and FacetoFace within a classroom.
  • Encourage your students as they complete 120 hours of industry work placement as placed by Stirlings Work Placement Coordinators.
  • Your students could range from school graduates to mature aged members and come from a variety of professional and cultural backgrounds.
  • You will be required to work towards Stirlings compliance requirements such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.
  • The Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is delivered one day a week over approximately 11 months.
  • This is a casual contract position payment is based on your day of training and other factors such as the number of assignments assessed.
  • We are seeking a trainers to commence during March/April/May 2025

    • Qualifications and significant work experience in Allied Health or related industry
    • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or a willingness to upskill/gain this qualification
    • Passion to train and motivate others
    • Ability to deliver dynamic engaging training
    • Ability to deliver engaging virtual training (via Zoom)
    • Excellent time management and communication skills
    • Excellent computer/email/Zoom/internet skills
    • Drivers license and own reliable transport
    • Working with Children Check
    • Any other associated qualifications would be highly regarded
